Every day is a new beginning! And it doesn’t take much to make a dog or a voice over actor happy. Welcome to the Dog Blog. Hope you enjoy it!
A professional home studio? How is it possible? There are as many ways to solve this conundrum as there are questions to ask.
The bottom line is the quality of the recording – this takes into consideration equipment, environment, and excellence of the talent. The three E’s!
When recording, the dogs are locked away so there are no extra pants (dog breaths – be nice!), scratchings, diggings, whinings or barks on any take. Likewise, all electrical appliances are off, and people are likewise banished. It can be done. The reunion after a recording session is always joyous and often involves string cheese snacks.
Somewhat beyond technical control are grumbling tummies, the neighbor’s lawn mower, and the pesky mosquito in the booth.
Nevertheless, the booth is a sacred and magical place where the art of voice over meets the science of audio recording and manipulation. Hope to serve you soon!
Thanks,
